Hi All
I'm attempting to load a file into a select of tables within a database.
My problem is that two fields from the file are packed decimals ( the file is also in EBCDIC and I need ASCII ) I know I can specify DECIMAL within my control file but it is the length ( using the POSITION method) The info I have with the file specifies the unpacked length and not the packed length, as a result this throws every record out by different amounts.
I also get a invalid nibble or byte in table error, although it loads around 14 records of 4000.
Anybody help please ?
Regards
Colin
