[Quoted] Have a need to run the Oracle batch data loading function, either using SQL Loader or Data Manager, via a command line interface. I will be launching the utility through a PB front end using an Oracle 7.2 Netware database.
The 7.2 client for Win31 does not have the command line interface of SQL Loader. It does have the Data Manager (VSDM.EXE) which provides the batch data loading functionality, but only through a GUI-keystroke interface. I am not aware of any command line method of controlling the VSDM.EXE utility.
The 7.1 client for Win31 does have the SQLLOAD.EXE utility, but I would prefer to use the 7.2 client to match my 7.2 database.
I did try running the 7.1 SQLLOAD.EXE with the 7.2 client dlls, and got an NLS3WIN.DLL GPF. The 7.1 SQLLOAD.EXE does work with 7.1 client dlls against a 7.2 Netware database.
Any help on using a 7.2 client utility via command line interface within Win3.1 would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
