Modeling-Designer 200, Erwin, Popkin, Bachman, which?? [Quoted] We saw a very impressive demo of Oracle Designer 2000 today and was quite impressed.
We also have Popkin SA Architect and Erwin in house.

While it seems that there are tons of features in Designer 2000 which would take some training, its incorporation of or ability to create forms, reports and potential web interface seemed very impressive. I think it had a web interface. I might be confusing it with Developer 2000 which they presented next.

If anyone could elaborate on what the best tool for modeling, and managing a databse, ability to create forms, change values in the database, generate SQL, reverse engineer like Designer 2000 had, etc.. I would appreciate it.

Kind of looking for an A versus B article. May need to call gartner group or do some more searching on the web, perhaps one of the PC rags may have something.

Thanks for any insight, and an email reply Peter
