Hi all, I have the following problems in d2k 1) when i am creating databes triggers from forms(d2k)-i choose the kind of trigger i want [Quoted] etc.etc. i get the window where i can type the code between a begin and end but i can type absolute rubbish and can get away with it. i type begin ppodjdhsdfklsdfjfls; fkgjhewriu, vdfsgsdf; end; and there was absolutely no error reported. the trigger was saved with no errors.

2) when i tried to see help i got the message

    PDE-PER001(DEUX 13115)
what does this mean? is my help incorrectly installed.

3) if any of you remember i had posted another mail regarding a certain proceddure using %rowtype working from sqlplus but not from forms which was solved by Erdal BUYUK <sistek_at_sistek.com.tr>, thank you Erdal, who [Quoted] said that d2k was using an older version of pl/sql which is version 1 and sqlplus uses version 2. but if i remember correctly i installed [Quoted] everthing off the same CD. then why this problem ? also i alternately tried to create a database procedure which i would call from the form. this gave me an eerror that the proc had'nt been declared. i checked the advanced tech manual - this clearly states on page 2.10, that if i am using an unsuported datatype then i will get this error. what the heck-does that mean that i cannot write a database wide procedure and call it from my form???? does that mean that my forms have to do individual validation???? has'nt anyone faced such problems-or am i missing something here. can anyone help??? -dinyar
