INP equivalent in 4.5

We currently have a large 3.0 application on Unix and we do a lot of 'grep'ing of inp's to find things and then look into the inp to determine what trigger uses such and such table. I am looking for something that can provide an output file with similar characteristics for searching (not neccesarily editing).

I have used 'convert' to get an fmt (?) but the routines are not clearily marked as to what trigger or procedure it is. I have tried the AdMin - Form_Doc, it generates a .txt file that is not compatable with notepad. I am not yet literate on the report tool so I don't know if I am supposed to use it to view/print this .txt file.
