I have no idea what is stands for but I believe that it could be "Null
Value".
NVL works like this:
NVL(value, 0)
If my value has a null value (nothing) it is replaced by 0. That is good for when you are doing calculations and there is a chance that a null value might occur. Received on Sun Dec 14 1997 - 00:00:00 CET
