  •   ORACLE JAVA AND INTERNET PRODUCTS TO DEBUT AT INTERNET WORLD

At Fall Internet World '97 in New York this week, Oracle Corp. will make
several Java and Internet product announcements, including introducing
its Java development tool codenamed Valhalla, the latest version of
Oracle Lite, and the beta of Web Application Server 3.1. Oracle is also
expected to unveil Oracle8.04.

Also this week at Fall Internet World ’97, Oracle will introduce the
version 1.1 of Oracle Internet Commerce Server, as well as announce the

  •   ORACLE APPLICATIONS 10.7 AND 11.0 GO JAVA

Oracle Corp. announced that it is supplying its enterprise applications
suite with automation functions, Java support, and integration of
third-party payroll applications. It also announced that Oracle
Applications 11.0, due in the first quarter of next year, will be
available only in a Web-based version initially.
