Since one year I'm using Oracle Webserver 1 to build dynamic HTML pages based upon data stored in a database. Now I need to incorporate a chart in my HTML pages. I proceeded this way : I installed Oracle Graphics on my server and set up a CGI script which launchs OG, creates a temporary GIF and then write the GIF on the standard output. Then, in my HTML page, I put the command <IMG SRC="/cgi-bin/myscript"> when I want to print the graphic.
The whole think works but it's SLOW.
I read something about Oracle Webserver 3 and Developer/2000 Web Cartridge. If someone out there is using this tool, I wish to know if I can use it for creating a dynamic Web page with a chart which requires a lower server processing time. For my purpose, I need only to display a GIF: I don't want to send any Java stuff on my users PC.

Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
