SQR3 Workbench and ORACLE

Hi
I wonder if there are any SQR Workbench guru's out there who may be able to
help me.
We are running SQR3 Workbench 3.0.12.3 on Oracle 7.2.3 and are trying to
tune an SQR report. The MFile allows you to set parameters one of them
being the cursor level.
When we enter CURSORS=nn it fails and the manual tells us that setting the
cursors only works for a SQLBase database. People have told me that they
are sure they changed this parameter when using the Oracle database. Has
anyone had experience of changing this parameter using Oracle and if so how
do you get it to work?
