  • PLUMTREE SOFTWARE LEVERAGES ORACLE TECHNOLOGY Plumtree Software is developing an information management system for organizing documents, relational data, Web pages, and electronic mail in a universal, hierarchical catalog that can be browsed from the Web. The company is now recruiting beta customers for its flagship product, the Plumtree Server.
  • BORLAND'S DATAGATEWAY GIVES PURE JAVA ACCESS TO ORACLE DATABASES Borland International announced DataGateway for Java, a database connectivity middleware product that gives clients Java access to corporate databases through industry-standard JDBC interfaces.
  • SEAGATE SOFTWARE’S CRYSTAL REPORTS INCLUDES JAVA Seagate Software's Crystal Reports 6.0 now includes Java and ActiveX applets so users can view and manipulate reports using Web browsers.
  • POET SHIPS OBJECT SERVER SUITE UPGRADE Poet Software is shipping an upgrade to its Object Server suite to enable users and developers to more easily bridge relational and object-oriented database environments.
  • LOAN SYSTEM SHIPS SYSLOAD FOR ORACLE Loan System, the Paris-based maker of the Sysload line of performance management products for NetWare, Unix, and Windows NT, is shipping Sysload for Oracle.
