Hi,

When I bring up Oracle Forms 4.5 designer and connect to the database as "user1" I get the <CON> message on the status bar. As soon as I try to expand the + next to the Database, instead of seeing my tables, views and such I get an error message as follows:

PDE - PXC002 Program Unit Execution aborted due to unhandled execution (942)

The same username, password and database name gets me access to all my tables using SQLPlus from the same machine. When I called Oracle Tech support they asked me to check if I could get through using Procedure Builder. Procedure Builder also gives me the exact same error. However, if I use a username of "sys" I can get to see all the tables. That led me to suspect that it might be a privileges issue. However, using SQLPlus I can access all the tables connected as "user1". Moreover, when I run forms (f45run32.exe) and connect to the database as "user1" I can query, update and insert into all the underlying tables. Has anyone else confronted this problem before where f45des32 does not see the tables and views but f45run32 does? Any ideas?

Thanks,
-Arup
