Which method you use to call the other form is completeley irrelevant. Once a global variable has been delclared, it is available everywhere in the FORMS session, unless Erased.
If he is getting that message, then either he has mistyped the name in one of the two places, or the code declaring the gloabal variable has not actually been executed, or he has called th buil-in Erase specifying that global variable.
There are no other possibilities.
