Announcement: PL/SQL Developer 1.5 release

Allround Automations announces the release of PL/SQL Developer 1.5, the easy to use Integrated Development Environment for developing, testing, debugging and optimizing stored functions, procedures, packages and triggers in an Oracle database. It makes a programmer's life easier by offering context sensitive help for SQL, PL/SQL and database object descriptions. The graphical browser allows you to inspect and query all relevant database objects directly. SQL Trace, Explain Plan and Automatic Statistics are integrated into the environment to help you optimize your code. Source files of PL/SQL Developer are compatible with SQL*Plus for easy deployment.

New features in this release include:

• Syntax highlighting Find syntax errors early and make your sourcecode easier to read
• Automatic statistics for SQL Window and Test Window Use statistics to optimize your SQL and PL/SQL without SQL_TRACE
• Editable query grid Execute a select statement and update the results easily
• SQL Trace switch Start tracing on the server by a simple click on a button
• Text editor for Long and varchar columns
• Import/Export Long Raw columns
• Oracle8 compatibility
