Reverse Engineering Oracle Data Dictionary

Has anyone attepted to reverse engineer Oracle's Data Dictionary tables and view. If you have could you please tell me how. I tried exporting SYS into another user and then tried to reverse engineer this user but the data dictionary view and tables where not showing up.

Another way I though of would be to change the some of the Oracle installatiopn scripts and run them through another user.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
