In addition ensure that the admin service and the www service nare started in the services control panel. I usually just get this error accessing the page from other machines.
Go to the listner admin page from the machine that has ows installed on mine its
http://host.com:8888/ows-abin/wladmin
if the host name doesn't work try the IP address
Should look like
Below are listed the Oracle Web Listeners on this machine. Each is identified by
its unique Listener Name.
admin : CONFIGURE START STOP DELETE Running!
Port 8888 on wie-nt6 listening on ANY IP address
Hit configure and add the machine IP address.....
That should work....
The other machines don't now the hostname of your machine. for your info my www service looks like this...
www : CONFIGURE START STOP DELETE
Port 80 on 142.255.255.255 listening on ANY IP address
Port 80 on host.com listening on ANY IP address
Port 80 on host.com:8888 listening on ANY IP address
Port 80 on host.com:80 listening on IP address any
That should work if not email me Received on Mon Sep 29 1997 - 00:00:00 CEST
