I have had experience with Powerbuilder and Designer 2000, and it is, both have different design paradiams. I have to say not knowing much about the project you wish to embark on, that there is considerable work involing translation of powerscript to pl/sql and also features that Powerbuilder has that are not easily mimiced in designer. I don't know the complexity of you PB app, but if it uses significant amounts of powerscripting, I'd say you would have to look at the benifits of using Designer over PB. If PB works why change it?
