Hi Adam,
There is a parameter UTL_FILE_DIR in init.ora.
Before you can use UTL_FILE.fopen, You have to set a list of directories
with UTL_FILE_DIR.
But any changing on init.ora has to restart the database to take new parameters in effect. How to avoid the restart ?! Regards
