DBI ORACLE installation

I'm planning to access an ORACLE DB with PERL. I found a lot of hints but nothing seems to work.

Under NT I'm running :

Perl 5.002 MKS version 5.2 build 63

        or
Perl 5.003 Developed by ActiveWare Internet Corp., http:

           Perl for Win32 Build 306 - Built 17:50:28 Apr 10 1997

With the DBI package I get troubles with the various versions of this modules and the corresponding ones like MakeMaker. I guess that under UNIX there is less trouble but my destination platform will be NT. Al least I would like to establish DB-connections via CGI.

Did anybody succeed in this environment?
