Videosoft's tab control

I was hoping someone may have come across this problem and figured out a solution. I am using a 16 bit version of Forms Designer 4.5 and I have inserted videosoft's tab control in one of my forms.

A problem that I am having is enabling and disabling individual tabs. When I set the tab enable property to false the tab does become disabled (i.e. can't navigate to that tab, however, the tabs caption is not 'visually' disabled. The text on the disabled tab is not 'grayed' out. The interesting thing is if you minimize the form or refresh the screen some other way (like putting another window over top of it) the disabled tabs caption becomes grayed out.

I guess the problem lies with the screen not refreshing properly. I have tried using the snychronize procedure but that hasn't worked.
