We are running Oracle 7.3.2 in Sun Solaries 2.5, when we try to
run Pro C examples ( Using C compiler from Sunsoft) shipped with Oracle,
as the way explained in the Pro C manual , <<
I do not know of any problems like you descriibed, but it sounds like this
is a new install. May I suggest you review the install message logs and
check on the pro*c configuration settings for any error messages or
incorrect settings that might have slipped by. Also on some Unix system
if you use orainst to do the install you still have to run a script called
root.sh manually before you are done.
You might wish to check the install guide for special environment
variables also.
Maybe someone else more familiar with the Sun environment will recognize your problem and give you a better answer.
