thanks, though my original question was... how do you do it from the Oracle(Unix) end? i am looking to do this process on a daily automated basis to populate an Oracle Warehouse.
it seems to me Access has to create the export file rather than Oracle reading the *.mdb, or Unix creaitng the export file from *.mdb i am ignorant of Access (and would like to keep it that way), but i am not into all this manual running of downloads.
