Forms 4.5 memory error

We have a form ( fairly large ) that we can run on a Windows 96 client which attaches to a Windows NT database ( 7.3.2.2 ). Every so often we get the following error message:
FRM-41936: Disk I/O error on temporary record buffer file C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\c3vvt29.TMP
I click OK to acknowlege it ( about 20 or 30 times until it goes away ), then everything is OK.
