We were in the same situation as you. But after much searching and asking around I found out the the Software Manager can only handle 16 bit files. This stopped eveything dead in its tracks. ( We are running on Windows 95 clients, and all files were 32 bit ). Back to the drawing board for us !!!
The moral of this story is that you have 16 bit files to distribute to your clients, you're out of luck.
We found out the hard way.
