Forms 4.5 Application for Win95 Problem

I need help with a Forms 4.5 on Win95 application.

The application erratically disconnects from the database, giving a NOT CONNECTED TO ORACLE error and such. This happens when the user has only the application open, has the application and other business applications open (Word and Excel), in the morning when the user first begins working and in the afternoon after working all day without a problem.

I tried to blame it on memory, and although I have not ruled that out completely, I do not understand how low memory could have disconnected SQL*Net. I have not been able to identify a problem on the Sun*Solarus server yet either. I'm stumped.

The user does not have to re-boot, just exit and re-enter the application, and connection is re-established.

Any suggestions on the problem, or where I can begin looking for the problem?
