PL/SQL Standard packages

[Quoted]         has anybody tried to use UTL_FILE to write files from a PL procedure? I didn't succeed. Always got the message:

        invalid_path:file location or name was invalid     after 'fopen'. I tried with any path, and always the same.

	Can anybody give a good clue?
	Is there any good documentation/examples of Oracle Standard
