GPFs , Windows95 and Forms 4.5 runtime . . .

Hi -

[Quoted] I'm experiencing lots of GPFs and "Program has performed an illegal action and is being shut down" messages during Forms 4.5 runtime on my PC. The PC is pretty robust - a Pentium 166 with 32 Mb installed. I've tried switching the virtual memory management from auto to manual, which seemed to help for a while, but I started getting weird memory messages and had to switch back. Now it doesn't seem to matter which way virtual memory is set - the GPFs are occurring with increasing frequency. I'm considering installing Windows NT, or even going back to 3.1, which seemed to work ok. The database I'm accessing, by the way, is on a DEC Alpha server.

The problem is compounded by the fact that I'm the only one in our development group who's working with Oracle and Forms 4.5 (we're converting applications from Ingres 4GL to Oracle Forms). Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
