The best thing in this stuff is the idea of hook points. We have used this idea and self developed package like HeadStart to generate the application of ca. 250 modules in 100%, long before this stuff was available.
My opinion about HeadStart package ( templates, libraries, preferences sets and utilities ) its very positive. It has professional level, its easy to use and increases the productivity, but the developer must understand the whole concept and deploy it. In our tests ( Version 3.4 ), we had not problems with the stability at all.
Why we did not use it our projects ?
All this features ( incl. hook point concept ) and much more you will have for free in the release 2.0 of des2k.
