Oracle Forms V3 error 41810

We have an older HP running HP/UX v9.04, Oracle 7.0.16 and Oracle Forms v3. I tried to install and relink SQL*Net v2 into this mix last night. Everything seemed okay last night, SQL*Net worked fine but this morning users were getting a Forms error (FRM-41810). In order to get the thing back into production quickly, I just restored the executables that had been changed and fired Oracle back up. It's fine now (but no SQL*Net v2).

I called Oracle and opened a TAR but after speaking with the technical person on the phone I get the feeling that it is going to be one of those TARs that never get resolved. I also searched MetaLink for any references in the Forms area with no success. Unfortunately most of the manuals are missing.

I'm not much of a Forms person so I thought I'd ask the list for any assistance they can offer. The users are running Forms on the HP and sql*Net isn't needed for this particular application (I'd just like to be able to manage it via OEM).

During the installation of SQL*Net I not only relinked Oracle but also Forms, was this my mistake?
