Forms Library Error

Several months ago, I installed Forms 45 (and Reports 25) on one of our Suns. Everything worked fine. Later, I installed the same software on another of our Suns. Although we did very little testing (forms only) everything seemed OK.
Now, when we issue the command f45runm (or try to run a form from within Designer) we get the error 'ld.so: librws25.so.2: not found.' We get the same message on both machines. We have the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH set correctly. The file in the error message is not in the library, but librsws25.a is. I have checked with a PC user of forms, and he has only the one library file (librsws25.a) in his $ORACLE_HOME/lib, but everything works OK.
My Oracle software is 7.3.2.1. I have the Forms and other D2K tools installed under a separate ORACLE_HOME. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
