The Role:

The main responsibilities of an Apache, Tomcat and IIS administration is to ensure subsystem reliability, availability, and serviceability; to provide technical expertise and guidance for both infrastructure and application design, supporting and diagnosing all RedHat, Amazon Linux and Windows products, and performance tuning. We have a diverse computing environment. Candidates for this position must be very flexible and responsive to the changing platform.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, capable of working independently or on a team, a strategic thinker, and results-orientated. He/she will be coordinating projects with technical teams in a high paced service-oriented environment and provide on-call support as required. He/she should be capable of handling high risk and high visibility situations with ease. Strong overall diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Minimum Experience/Education:

Position requires a Bachelor degree with at least seven years of experience in advanced system development, support, analysis, or architectural design, or at least nine years of relevant experience demonstrating progressively increasing levels of responsibility in these areas of responsibility. This position requires continued education and/or advanced certifications in technology currency and ongoing skill development to maintain a fresh and forward thinking/objective perspective.

Job Function:

Middleware experience in a Linux / Windows environment.

Must have hands on experience working with Apache, Tomcat, IIS, MuleSoft etc.

Must have experience with RedHat Linux as related to Apache, Tomcat, IIS engineering design, development, and implementation.

Linux OS hands-on experience in deployment and configuration processes.

Administered, configured, tuned, and troubleshoot Apache, Tomcat, IIS in a clustered environment.

Good understanding of Apache/Tomcat/IIS subsystem.

Implement application security in Apache, Tomcat, IIS.

Good understanding Apache, Tomcat, IIS security configuration.

Experience in Apache, Tomcat, IIS security management.

Experience in Apache, Tomcat, IIS server configuration and SSL certificate implementation.

Experience in RedHat Enterprise and GuideWire Application in a clustered environment.

Experience with MuleSoft CloudHub and Mule soft applications

Good understanding of SSL, Java TrustStores, Certificate Authorities, Certificate Chains, SAN names

Good experience in complex code promotions in Production environments

Experience with Ansible

Experience with Jenkins and Git

Working knowledge in mod_jk and proxy pass configuration.

Good understanding of java policy configuration.

Experience with AppDynamics and performing application performance analysis

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Experience with Synopsys Seeker

Experience with complex service integrations

Good understanding of DNS

Good understanding of Networking

Experience with migrations across different technologies

Good understanding of server hardening and web service security

Understanding of install, diagnostics, automation, and support.

Coordinate with Business and successfully fulfill their project requirements

Able to do solutioning, technical leadership, setting up configuration, and resolving complex application/infrastructure issues.

Able to do capacity planning and analysis for Linux environment

Demonstrates technical leadership and exerts influence outside of immediate team.

Working knowledge of Apache tomcat web server platform.

Analyze all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommends modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability.

Good understanding of web server load balancing concepts and experience with high available distributed environment utilizing AWS/BigIP

Experience with MuleSoft CloudHub and Mule soft applications
