SQL Server on Linux

I believe that we have all seen Microsoft's announcement that they will make SQL Server available on Linux in the second half of 2017. Also, Microsoft has already announced rather aggressive trade in policy: give up Oracle license and get SQL Server license for free. What will that mean for Oracle? Oracle didn't create too many friends with their licensing policies and auditing raids. I, for one, welcome competition into the market.
