The company currently serves nearly 350 leading commercial insurers, insurance brokers, risk management departments of major corporations, and other related organizations. Their web-based workstation incorporates real-time analytics and research on over 1.5 million companies and 70 industries. They are Headquartered in New York City, and were established in 1999.

Position: Oracle DBA

Oracle DBA with experience in Red Hat Linux OS

Must have 5+ years of *Oracle* Production *DBA* experience with *Oracle* 9i/10g Willing to be on-call 7/24 when required The *Oracle* *DBA* will support multiple databases in a production, integration and development environments. Experience in Unix environment required. Must have an experience with:
· Any flavor of Linux (Red Hat)
· RMAN for backup and recovery
· PL/SQL, Performance Tuning and Monitoring
· Unix shell scripting

Preferred skills include:
· Experience with data modeling tools
· Data warehousing experience
· OEM installation and configuration

Desired skills:
· CVS check-in/check-out procedures
· PL/SQL package deployment best practices
Other responsibilities include creating and modifying Unix scripts to automate *DBA* tasks, perform PL/SQL deployment and validation.
