External Procedures

Hi,



We are running Oracle 8i on one of our servers, on Unix.  We need to
execute a shell script from within PL/SQL.



Is this possible without all the C libraries and other junk?  I've not
really found a clear way to do it.



If you have any examples, I'd appreciate you pasting them.
