Thanks guys....for responding.........The last time I posted an

enquiry.....and many guys criticized the way I
posted...."Reply"..."Reply All"....I didn't know how to post
back.....and still don't know....

1. I have tried the following usernames
             Scott
             System
             Sys
2. The error I get is
             ERROR:
                        ORA-12560: TNS: protocol adapter error
3. And to the gentleman who suggested I read the manual before installation, I would like to say, I did that. I went to "Enterprise Manager Console" and made some changes so that I could use "HR" username

4. I'm trying to prepare for oracle certification IZ0-007 exam
