Those support papers all refer to Microsoft's own ODBC driver for Oracle. I have not used that and I don't know how to make it work at all. It doesn't work on my PC. All of my comments refer to Oracle's own ODBC driver (for Oracle). So I misled you unintentionally, I thought that you were just talking about ODBC, not specifically MDAC. I don't know if there is ADO wrapper for Oracle's ODBC driver.
