We’re extensively using ACFS snapshots.
We had some problems at the beginning with concurrent acfsutil commands. A delete could have caused a create to fail – even when both commands were running on a different file system. The traces showed that the create command implicitly executed acfsutil list of all the volumes and when a concurrent delete deleted a completely different file system, the create occasionally failed. I haven’t though managed to reproduce the problem at will.
But after serializing the acfsutil calls (within the VM) we haven’t had any problems.

If so, do you ever notice it "hang" on deleting a snapshot or completely fail silently to create a snapshot?
