Have you try to remove the cert first
- Make the backup of the wallet
- orapki wallet remove -alias 'CN=you get this from orapki wallet display' -wallet your-wallet-location -trusted_cert
- orapki wallet add -wallet your-wallet-location -trust_cert -cert your-new-root.cert

Subject: Oracle Wallets (Cloud Control)
***This email is from an external source. Only open links and attachments from a Trusted Sender.*** I am trying to update our certificate as it has expired and CC won't start.
In the past, I created an auto-login wallet and was able to add the root, inter, inter2, and user certs to it. Now I get the following error:
oracle_at_dbmon06:OMS_HOME> /oracle/app/product/wallets/root.txt <Oracle PKI Tool : Version 12.2.1.4.0
Copyright (c) 2004, 2019, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.
Cannot modify auto-login (sso) wallet
Enter wallet password:
Could not install trusted cert at/oracle/app/product/wallets/root.txt
PKI-04003: The trusted certificate is already present in the wallet.
How do I get around this?
