EBS patching in OCI

Hello,
there is one note 'Installing Database Patch Updates for Oracle E-Business Suite on an Exadata DB System in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or Oracle Cloud at Customer (Doc ID 2368508.1) .'
Describing how to deal with EBS patching in ExaCS, but as far as I can tell it is still mixture of dbaascli and opatch rollback/apply cycles.
Question is how You're dealing with EBS environments patching when it comes to automation, especially tasks for patch conflicts resolutions and safe/quick production patching?
Installation on 12.1 and EBS 12.2.4 .
