This issue of the NoCOUG Journal is the funniest ever but is still chock full of useful information as always. Please forward it to your friends or colleagues who will benefit from it.
Funny bits:
- Page 7: The founder of the OakTable Network, Mogens Norgaard, calls the NoCOUG Journal editor an “old, bitter, twisted idiot” for bad-mouthing NoSQL.
- Page 9: Mogens claims that “NoCOUG is dead as such. Just like user groups for mainframe operators or typesetters.” P.S. Please prove him wrong by registering for the February 22 NoCOUG conference<https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fnocoug.wildapricot.org%2FEmailTracker%2FLinkTracker.ashx%3FlinkAndRecipientCode%3DziW0WRf%252bMdHo14JmdsOx6b%252bt7urN%252bz%252fgtaWJRT32RMpt3%252fGbL0%252fkL89c8gQ4GCvsEvJnECyTgX5AhqxlfTt644bldyRkWijBUX9mh69r4Fw%253d&data=02%7C01%7C%7Cabb72d207994453cf30d08d56f4e5e2d%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C636537304727481858&sdata=zR6uTKKXNctyowhdW3VLm0ih%2FlXAgRDXbQZRUvf2rWo%3D&reserved=0>!
- Page 7: Mogens admits that “whenever he recommends or doesn’t recommend something, most people go out and do exactly the opposite, so in that sense he has a great deal of influence.” Please prove him right by registering for the February 22 NoCOUG conference<https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fnocoug.wildapricot.org%2FEmailTracker%2FLinkTracker.ashx%3FlinkAndRecipientCode%3DziW0WRf%252bMdHo14JmdsOx6b%252bt7urN%252bz%252fgtaWJRT32RMpt3%252fGbL0%252fkL89c8gQ4GCvsEvJnECyTgX5AhqxlfTt644bldyRkWijBUX9mh69r4Fw%253d&data=02%7C01%7C%7Cabb72d207994453cf30d08d56f4e5e2d%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C636537304727481858&sdata=zR6uTKKXNctyowhdW3VLm0ih%2FlXAgRDXbQZRUvf2rWo%3D&reserved=0>!
