Matthew,

>>bugs related to 9i RAC on Linux and asynch io

Can you point to any (bugs) specifically or should I just search Metalink?

I was considering enabling this for my 9iRAC/RHEL3ES...Oracle (marketing, presentations) imply that I should be doing this. Frankly Oracle Corp. takes much credit for helping RH/Linux get to async-IO?

Thanks,

Chris Marquez

There are bugs related to 9i RAC on Linux and asynch io. They can cause =3D your system to crash and they can corrupt your database.

Also, in terms of RAC and IO slaves....
I know one can only run with one arc proces in RAC..do IO slaves pose = =3D
