Rachel,
Whats wrong with COBOL. I programmed with it in the early 70's and last I heard the "root" module I write is still in use today(payroll for a Fortune 100 company). Later in life I programmed in INFORMIX 4GL on a DataPoint server. It was replaced with an IBM 360 and they never got the application to run as fast as the original.  ROR mª¿ªm

I am up there amongst the more "seasoned" members of this list.

I even (sh, don't tell anyone) programmed in COBOL.
