Did you use Google to post it? If so it's probably lost. I also noticed this happening and think they frak'd up their groups system. Anyhow two suggestions for you if you are using Google groups 1) keep a copy of your post around in your editor until you see it appear 2) if your post does not appear within 30 seconds then it never will. Of course 2) does not apply to human moderated forums.
