No, he was kicked out for making constant personal attacks and slander after many warnings on many different fora. Bob, we are talking about a guy who made the #2 spot on CompuServe! That is a lot of fora, over a long time! Gee, given a choice that there is "The Great Conspiracy" aimed at Fabian or that there is some paranoia on his part, which way does the smart money bet? Dave Kalman, one of the editors who was supposed to be part of "The Great Conspiracy", pointed out that he had printed EVERY article Fabian had sent him -- there was only one. This is how I feel about Chris Date and SQL -- papers submitted to ANSI X2H2 from Date for the language? Zero. Summer interns at NIST have more submissions!! At least Dr. Codd attended a meeting.
