Since you have already excluded option "e: ignore it altogether, period", I vote for "c". If you had a killer argument you'd have produced it by now. I can't think of any reason why you'd want to continue drawing attention to your treatment at Pascal's hands. I can't think of any reason why, in the absence of a killer argument, anyone else would want to read about it either.
