A "crystal ball" is a stand-alone device, and is not an interface to a computer. "Psychic interface" imlpies a direct mind-to-machine connection with no intervening device. Not be confused with "Psychotic interface", which is a description of certain contributors to this NG as well as several cube-dwellers at the office.
