The person relaying this information said "IMS" -- nothing more specific.

A more recent comparison is available. IBM's Janet Perna did a May 3 presentation that shows IBM's distributed database revenue is $9.6 billion. It's host database revenue is $3.1 billion. Received on Wed May 05 2004 - 01:33:52 CDT
