I know, this is totaly lame, but I'm putting together a recipe database.
It's not for a class or anything, I'm helping a family member with a web
site. All I'm asking for are some best practices or data modeling ideas. I
already have some notions of my own, but would like some other ideas to
compare them to.
I did some searches in google and I was suprised that I couldn't find anything. I was sure that there would be examples of other peoples models all over the place.
I would like the resulting DB to be very flexible in terms of being able to use logic to change "number of servings", metric or standard, etc.
Thanks for being the type of person who will help with such a lame question. You should be proud of yourself.
