Today, DIFfersifier 2.0b02 has been released. DIFfersifier is a HyperCard-based application that converts HyperCard stacks into DIF files for use with FileMaker, the database module of AppleWorks, and almost any other Macintosh and Wintel compatible database. Several minor bugs and one major bug have been resolved. Important is its current compatibility with MacOS 7.5.3 and higher, and AppleScript 1.1 and higher. This means that almost any Macintosh can run DIFfersifier 2.0. The file overwriting bug,, which occurred due to AppleScript compatibility problems, has been eliminated. DIFfersifier 2.0 can be downloaded from <http://msch.cjb.net> for free. It may be freely distributed for non-commercial purposes.
