That is my problem; I hae not written application code in a decade now. Once you get to be an SQL guru, all you do is teach SQL, design databases or write the SQL calls inside an application. But I have no idea what the applications do any more.

Life has been a series of family problems that read like a Jerry Springer or Sally Jessie show -- I have hopes of getting to the level of a soap opera later this year. I am trying to make an effort to go on-line for an hour a day in the SQL forums via Deja.com to keep my hand in things. I really need to give up my section on Compuserve, since nobody visits me there anyway.
