Thanks for replying.

I will use RMAN for backup. But I still want to use Export to tape. As the total database file size (both data and index) is estimated to be about 300 to 400G, I prefer not to buy extra external SCSI drive System. So I would like to test on tapes.

By the way, what's the libraries for RMAN to write to tape ?
